Show Barn Destroyed By Fire At S. F. SPANISH FORK This city was visited by the most disastrous fire of the year at 1 o'clock this morning. morn-ing. The fire was discovered at the home of Henry Prior in the Third ward and the alarm quickly sent in. The fire department responded. It was discovered that a large barn filled with hay was in a blaze. The fire had gained such headway that it was impossible to save either the building or the hay. The firemen could only keep the flames from spreading to adjacent 1 buildings. Forty-five tons of chured j hay were destroyed and the build-1 ing. The loss is estimated at about $1400 with $250 insurance. |
