Show STOCK MEN TO OBTAIN FEED LOIS Complete Information In Regard Re-gard To Securing Loans To Be Given Out At Meeting In Provo Friday Evening. Livestock growers of Utah county who are planning on applying for a federal loan for the purchase of feed during dur-ing the winter have been asked to meet with the county coun-ty drought committee, Friday at 7:30 p. m. in the city and county building. The call for the meeting was issued is-sued Tuesday by J. W. Gillman, chairman- of the committee. All the necessary blanks, including application ap-plication forms, notes and chattel mortgages, have been received. Relief Measure '" The loans to livestock men were authorized by the last congress as a relief measure in the drought areas. Most of the counties of the state have already accepted the opportunity op-portunity and many applications have already been filed for loans. The act provides that livestock men may borrow up to $3 per head per month for the purchase of feed stuffs. The money becomes due September 30, 1932, according to the provisions of the act. The executive committee of the drouth relief group consists of J. W. Gillman, chairman; Charles De-Moisy, De-Moisy, forest service; Seymour Mendenhall, bankers; J. M. Creer, livestock men; Sidney Nicholes, sheep men. |
