Show DEER SEASON OPENS SOON OGDEN, Oct. 14. The Kalbab deer season opens October 16 and continues until November 15. Each hunter will be allowed one deer which may be either a buck or a doe. The residence license is $2.50. a non-residence license is $35, and and the government agreement is $1.50. Camps will be In charge of forest rangers and deputy game wardens. To prevent over-crowding and accident, a limited number of persons will be assigned to each camp and no shooting will be permitted per-mitted within a quarter of a mile from camp. Hunters will check in at Ryan for the west side and at South Canyon camp for the east side. Horses may be hired at the following rates: One horse, $3 per day or $1.50 for half day. Guides may be secured at $5 per day. One guide can take care of from one to four hunters. Meals will be served at all camps at 75c each. Bedding should be brought along, but each camp will have a few beds for rent. Each camp also has tent cabins with stoves foi rent. Auto roads lead to all hunting hunt-ing camps and there is an airplane air-plane landing at Fredonia, Ariz with auto travel the remainder of the way. Reservations for dates to enter the hunting camps may be made In advance by application to Walter G. Mann, forest supervisor Kanab, Utah. It is not absolutely necessary to have reservations |
