Also the west side of all those pieces and parcels of land situated on the east side of Main Street and abutting upon and fronting Main Street and said improvement; the west sides of Lots 2 and 3 in each of the following blocks, 3t3. 29, 20, 13 and 4, all in Plat "A", Springville Survey of Building Lots, Springville, Utah. All of the lands herein described being within the corporate limits of Springville, Utah County, Utah, : and being situate in Section 33. Township 7 South, Range 3 East, I Salt Lake Base and Meridian. I, Harry Pennington, the duly elected, qualified and acting City Recorder of Springville do hereby certify that the above and foregoing fore-going is a full true and correct copy of a notice of intention as passed by the City Council and approved ap-proved by the Mayor, August 4th, 1931. NOTICE OF INTENTION Notice is hereby given by the City Council of Springville of the intention of such council to make the following described improvements improve-ments and to levy taxes to defray the costs thereof as hereinafter stated, to-wit: To grade and pave with six inch thick Portland cement concrete, construct concrete curb and gut-1 ter, construct irrigation and drainage drain-age waterways under said pavement pave-ment where required, construct sidewalks where needed, and construct con-struct the following where necessary neces-sary the cost to be assessed against the property benefitted, private driveways, irrigation inlets in-lets and to remove trees where desirable de-sirable on Main Street between the north boundary line of First North Street and the south boundary bound-ary line of Fourth South Street, in Paving District No. 2. Said pavement pave-ment to be in three strips, East, Center and West strips; the East and West strip to be of sufficient : width to extend from pavement i now in, to the gutter, approximate- j ly 14.25 feet, and the Center strip to be of sufficient width to fill in the space between the two strips of pavement now in, being approxi-1 mately 30.00 feet. ' The total estimated cost of the improvement above mentioned as determined by the City Engineer is the sum of $42,242.07, of which the city will pay the sum of $26,-327.37, $26,-327.37, and the abutters portion of the cost and expense thereof is estimated at $15,914.70. Springville City is to pay for the costs of constructing the paving of the street intersections, the Center strip of paving and abutters property prop-erty owned by the City, and the sum aforementioned to be paid by the City is for these purposes. The estimated cost per foot of property abutting on said proposed improvement district is $4,471. Private driveways, private irrigation irri-gation inlets, and removal of trees are to be paid for by the property abutting - or benefitting thereby; and the estimated cost of said work is as follows, to-wit; Private Driveways 8 feet wide, $25.18 each. Irrigation of inlets, $20.00 each. Removal of trees: Diameter 6 inches or leBs, $2.50 each. Diameter 6 inches to 12 inches, $7.50 each. Diameter 12 inches to 24 inches, $10.00 each. Diameter 24 inches and up, $15.00 each. The abutters portion of the cost and expense of said proposed improvement im-provement will be paid for by local assessments on the lots and : pieces of ground within the following fol-lowing described Street Paving District No. 2, being the district to be affected and benefitted by said improvement, namely: The east side of those pieces and parcels of land situated on the west side of Main Street and abutting upon and fronting Main Street and said improvement; im-provement; the east sides of Lots 1 and 4 in each of the following blocks, 37, 28, 21, 12 and 5, all in Plat "A)", Springville Survey (of, Building Lots, Springville, Utah. |
