Show LIQUOR SOLD TOSTUDENTS CHICAGO, Nov. 19 (UP) Three investigations were launched today into the death of William Adomay-tis, Adomay-tis, 18-year-old student, shot to death yesterday by Anthony Jus-kus, Jus-kus, proprietor of an ice cream parlor, which was said to be a liquor resort. Coroner Oscar Wolff said he had been informed that merchants in the neighborhood havte.been selling liquor to school children. William J. Bogan, superintendent of schools, opened an inquiry by calling a conference with police officials to lay plans to put the lid on bootlegging in the vicinity of city schools. William F. Russell, commissioner commission-er of police, has ordered each police po-lice district to make a survey of the schools. Squads will check all business houses around schools. Steps will be taken to close all places where juvenile delinquency is found. Russell said. ' |
