Smith of Suit Lake delivered a stirring address at the meeting held nt the oitv pavilion Fri- day night as a part of the observance observ-ance of National Defense day. Other numbers on the program were the mnsic, rart of which was furnished by the high school girls, under tile direction of J. F. FallT. who gave a solo and the Jameson sisters who sang a duet. Instrumental Instrumen-tal music comprised a duet by Marx Thomas and Owen Howe. The reading, "Old Glory," by Mrs. Lucy Andros Wilkons. was much ap- preciated by the audience n Lewis offered 'the invocation anL ' Rev. Theodore Lee pronoun?" ! benediction. Mayor Nathaniel r , low extended greetings.
