More than 50 honor students cf the Springville high school were guests at a banquet given in their honor in the' high school Wednesday Wednes-day evening. Wilford Lyall was toastmaster, Mell Haymond, master of ceremonies. A nicely arranged program of musical numbers, readings read-ings and dancing was given. About 100 members and guests attended the annual Daughters of Pioneers social in the First ward chapel Wednesday afternoon. An especially interesting program was given in which a large number of high school students, including the orchestra under the direction of E. L. Faux took part.
