For maintenance of equipments $2,206,000 is provided for use in Utah, approximately half of this amount being for wages of shop workers. "One of the largest shops on the sy s i em is at Salt Lake City and the company's pay roll at that point, fo:r shop and other employees is now substantially in excess of 300,000 a month and other important import-ant shops or roundhouses for maintenance main-tenance of equipment wtvrk are at Ogden, Provo and Milford and there are also roundhouses at Lyn- dyl, Lund, Tintic, Cutler and Cacho Junction. The maintenance of way and structures program for the year provides $3,167,000 for use in Utah approximately 60 per cent of which i:; for wages. The increase in tourist travel to the intermoun-tain intermoun-tain region, especially to southern Utah and Northern Arizona parka t is reflected in the provision made ; for still further extension in the i Union Pacific facilities at Zion and I Bryce National parks. Cedar City, j Funds are set aside for substantial additions to the guest accommoda- tions at all these places. The new facilities will be ready this summer.
