Show CITY COUNCIL ! REVIVES STEEL COMPANY SUIT With a view of reviving its fight r.n Columbia Steel Corporation to recind the action of a former city administration in transferring the city pasture to the steel company, the city council lias engoged Lewis Larson, an attorney of Manti, to continue the action. The resolution which was passed by a vote of three to one at the last meeting of the board reviving the suit, conveys to Mr. Larson a retainer re-tainer fee of S150. This with the $500 granted to the law firm of Christensen, Watkins and Dunford makes a total of $650, expended for attorney's fees in the case to date. It is pointed out that the former attorneys did nothin gin the matter of furthering the council's cause, and the case will continue under the leadership of Mr. Larson. |
