Show j ORDINANCE i i Be it ordained by the City Coun-j Coun-j cil of the City of Springville, State j of Utah: Solicitors Bond Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person; company, firm or corporation corp-oration to solicit orders for merchandise mer-chandise from house to house or within the business district of the corporate limits M Springville. City without first filing with the City Recorder a surety bond in the sum of $1,000.00. which bond shall be executed ex-ecuted in favor of Springville city and shall contain an undertaking on the part of two good and sufficient suffic-ient sureties, to be apnroved and accepted by the City Recorder, to the effect that the said sureties will reimburse any and all persons who may suffer any loss occasioned by the said solicitor's failure to. deliver any merchandise for which orders are taken, as aforesaid. Provided however, that nothing herein con-tamed con-tamed shall be construed to apply to merchants engaged in business in Springville City. Any person, company, firm 'or corporation violating any of the prov.sions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not more than $o0.00 or by imprisonment not more than thirty days, or by both such fine and Imprisonment.
