Show Novel panel created by pouring dye Stained glass color in plastic plas-tic skylight panels can do a dramatic job of light control. A transparent yellow panel adds a sunny hue but hardly dims the light in a work area. On a gray day, a panel with warm colors, such as a yellow and red leaf design on a semi-opaque semi-opaque orange background, casts a pleasant glow. On a bright, hot day, a panel with cool, acqueous greens and pale blue to milky background, dims the light and makes the room cool. By night the name panels will take on different opaque colors. The August Sunset tells how to apply the designs by pouring resin dyes, one color at a time, from a paper cup. A sketch of the design on paper placed under the transparent acrylic when you pour the resin re-sin is a useful guide. You get more depth by pour-painting part of the design on each side. |
