Show yjewd Uriels Mr. and Mrs. Frank Larabee have returned to their home after spending three months in Green River, Utah, . where Frank has been employed on the new Missile base, installing heating and air conditioning. While in Green River, they had as their guests, Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer S. Hill of Provo and the two couples took a trip down to Dead Horse Point, the Arches and over to Mesa Verda, Arizona. From there they journeyed across the new million dollar highway, the Navajo Trail, to Monument Valley, where they visited the beautiful new chapel and hospital hos-pital built especially for the Navajo Indians, by the Seventh Sev-enth Day Adventist Church. Then they continued on to the Goose Necks of the San Juan and back to Green River. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Hansen (Phyllis Peterson) and three children of Burley, Ida.,, spent the weekend in Springville, the guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson. They came especially to attend the George and Francis Giles Peterson Pe-terson reunion held in Provo Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Hatfield Hat-field accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wright enjoyed four days recently at Las Vegas Ve-gas attending several shows. They also toured Boulder Dam and Bryce and Zion Canyons. A number of Springville relatives re-latives went to Arco, Idaho Tuesday, to attend the funeral services for Von Merrill, husband hus-band of the former Alice Roth-well. Roth-well. He is the son-in-law of Mrs. Edith Rothwell, formerly of Springville. Included in the group were Mr. and Mrs. Leo D. Weight, accompanied by Fred Weight and Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Waters of Provo. |
