Show Mothers Study Club holds Guest Day A delightful program and luncheon entertained Mothers Study Club members and their guests, Friday afternoon, at Kolob Stake House. Mrs. Hilda Cherrington was chairman of arrangements for the party as-i as-i sisted by Zelma Beardall, Rena Roylance, Lela Sumsion, Ella Reynolds, Malinda Sumsion and Mildred Newman and Haj ' zel Lowenstein, the latter two acting for their mother, Mrs. j Nellie Anderson, who is' still confined to an Ogden hospit- al. i President Grace Crandall welcomed the group and Malinda Ma-linda Sumsion read the club collect. Annie Forshee and Elsa Old-royd Old-royd entertained with piano duets and Mrs. Forshee sang solos, accompanied by Mrs. Oldroyd. Jerry Duncan also gave poems, short stories and pantomimies. A letter written by Mrs. Ella Reynolds, was signed by all present to send to Mrs. Anderson. Lovely favors were presented present-ed to special guests as follows: Verlaine Swenson, Nadine Bis-mark, Bis-mark, Mrs. Glen Diamond, Frances Oberhansley, Inez Clegg, Marilyn Reid, Gertrude Sumsion, Dickie Jane Sargent, Yvonne Johnson, Betty Russell, Rus-sell, Jean Williams, Birdella Bearnson, Helen Crandall, Maria Ma-ria Johnson, Loween Sorenson, Onieta Sumsion, Rea Straw, Ida Matteson, Lenore Livingston, Living-ston, Martha Harrison, a char-. char-. ter member from Salt Lake; Merle Packard, Elva Davis, Hazel Lowenstein and Mildred A Newman. |
