Show I Xlub Woman of the Year' honor bestowed on Sprinqville woman vice-president, " art and program pro-gram chairman and is now acting as vice-president. She is affiliated with the American Legion Auxiliary and has served as poster and Americanism Chairman. She has also been chairman of Community Service, in Delta Kappa Gamma chapter in which she has worked on the selective recruitment committee commit-tee and served as historian. Mrs. Schwartz served on the high school Art Board seven years and as a Springville representative, rep-resentative, she has worked in MIA, Relief Society and Sun- Mrs. Mary R. Schwartz has been designated Club Woman of the Year in this district, it was annuonced this week. Her name will now be entered in state competition. A member of the Aureole club, she is being sponsored by Springville Federated Council, which took into consideration her record in civic, club, church and other activities. A teacher at the Junior High school the past 17 years, she has taught 34 years in all, with seven years of the time as a school principal. She has served in the feder- ation as district president, vice-president, parlimentarian and secretary. She is presently present-ly serving as state conservation conserva-tion chairman in the UFWC. She has held several executive execu-tive positions in her club including in-cluding two terms as president, t, day School. She has reviewed ii numerous books including, Re-t- ligions of the World, 17 times, i- She is an honorary member of the Faits ' Bien newest i- federated club in Springville. l- Mrs. Schwartz has a son, t, Tom Schwartz, presently em-: em-: ployed with American Tel. and V Tel. Co. in Colorado. |
