Show Jaycees given awards at installation Nearly fifty Jaycees and JC Wives were in attendance at the installation dinner meeting meet-ing Saturday evening, for both organizations. Lamar Raw-lings, Raw-lings, state national director, was the speaker. Art Mitchell was master of ceremonies. Special guests at the meeting meet-ing besides the wife of the speaker, were Mr. and Mrs. Wes Helm, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Pearce and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Schardine. The Louis Schardine award presented annually to the outstanding out-standing Jaycee, went to Wayne Blanchard and the Grant Thorn award, given for service to the club, was presented pre-sented to Ted Fletcher. A son-in-law of Mr. Thorn, Clyde Pearce, presented the award. Noma Jean Read, past president of the JC Wives, made her report and installed the new officers. She was presented pre-sented with a gift. John Swenson, retiring JC president, also made a report of the past year's activities and installed new officers. He also received a gift. The meeting was highlighted by the presence of four past presidents of the two organizations. organi-zations. Carla Jex and Patti Willis were in charge of the decorations decora-tions for the installation. More than six million GI loans have been made in the Veterans Administration's GI loan program.
