Show Girls make fine impressions his district, the three Spring-ville Spring-ville girls were outstanding. Townspeople are undoubtedly happy to hear such fine reports concerning young people from this city and it is an incentive incen-tive for other young folks leaving their hometown, to make similar impressions. The most recent good-will ambassadors from Springville, are: Lona Lee Child, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Verl Child, 373 South 13th East; Charlotte Curtis, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack J. Curtis now of Huntington Beaph, Calif., recently re-cently residing at 179 South 13th East Springville, and Karen Snow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Snow, 311 East 4th North. The parents of the girls and the town are grateful to Mr. Schreyer for his taking the time and going to the trouble of stopping during his busy schedule, to report on the girls. were soon assigned as stake missionaries. President Schreyer Schre-yer said that the fine character char-acter of the girls, their pleasing pleas-ing personalities, integrity and loyalty reflected fine training in their homes, their schools and the town in which they had lived. The mission president further reported that among the 65 stake missionaries in Springville can be proud to claim three girls from this city, who are making some fine impressions among the people with whom they come in contact, con-tact, according to a report this week from the Santa Ana, Calif, area, where the girls went to work after graduation from high school. In fact the three have made such a fine record that the LDS mission president of the Santa Ana Stake, Franz Schreyer, Schre-yer, passing through Springville Spring-ville Tuesday of this week, en-route en-route to Idaho, saw the Springville Spring-ville Herald building and stopped stop-ped to report on the fine work in which the girls are engaged. He said when the three arrived ar-rived in California, they went to the LDS bishop of their ward, introduced themselves, and offered their services. They |
