They are good for us as individuals, in-dividuals, and good for America when headed by men who are statesmen; and not cheap politicians; politic-ians; men who look for the country's coun-try's welfare and not that of party alone. Men who will not promise the universe, then vote in congress for anything and everything that centralizes power. All they are interested in-terested in is power unto themselves, and a party that gains that power transmits part of it to the politician. Russia's constitution has almost identical civil rights stipulations as does ours; free speech, free press, right of assembly, right of worship, and freedom to go where one wishes. wish-es. But "A Stalin" came along fol- . lowed by Khrushchev, and now if you can't believe the extent to which civil rights are disregarded, go to Russia and see. One cannot disbelieve disbe-lieve that having conqured one-third one-third of the earth's surface, Khrushchev Khrush-chev is out to conquer the balance. Are we going to let his type take us over? We are unles.s we keep our government at home, con serve our resources and forget petty self desires. We are a free people, oh! we don't know how free! Let's keep it that way by voting for men to represent us, not to represent a party and government centralization. centraliza-tion. They do not vote for us nor for America. They vote for a party, which is themselves and which they are striving eternally to make more powerful.
