Show Funeral rites Monday for Kenneth Condie Funeral services were conducted con-ducted Monday in the 4th-10th j' ward for Kenneth P. Condie, ! 66, life-long resident of Spring- j ville, who died at noon Satur- j; day At. the. family residence, j 502 East Center St. of a lingering lin-gering illness. ; Bishop Grant Nielson of the j Tenth ward, was in charge of i the services, Burial was in the j Evergreen cemetery, directed j by Berg Mortuary. Mr. Condie was born Nov. 1, 1893 in Springville, a son of i Gibson Sharp and Ester Pal- freyman Condie. He married ; Zina Chuds Dec. 17, 1913 in the Salt Lake Temple. He was a lifetime resident of Springville. He had been a rural mail carrier for 42 years in Springville and Mapleton, retiring the latter part of 1959. He was also a farmer and a stockman. He was a member of the LDS Tenth ward, holding hold-ing the office of high priest j at time of death. He had been ! superintendent of the Sunday J School, an officer in the Mu- J tual Improvement Association and a ward teacher. He had been an active member of the ! (Mary Jane) , Olsen, all of Springville; Mrs. Richard R. (Lenore) Wight-man, Wight-man, Arcadia, Calif.; Mrs. Robert Ro-bert J. (Aileen) Conrad, Esk-clay, Esk-clay, Utah; 30 grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; one brother and four sisters, Richard P. Condie, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lena C. Maycock, Springville; Mrs. S. Dwight (Hannah) Packard, -Orem; Mrs. Lillian Lewis, Overton, Nev.; and Mrs. Harvard (Mel-ba) (Mel-ba) Osmond, Glenview, 111. |
