The board rejected all bids submitted to furnish gasoline to district owned buses, trucks and cars for the year and decided de-cided to call for new bids. .The board clerk was authorized author-ized to call for bids to furnish fur-nish meat for lunch program r of the' district; also for milk and cottage cheese, to tune the pianos in the district and to write insurance on district owned buses and cars used to transport students. After a tabulation of bids on processed foods for the school lunch program, a motion passed authorizing the purchase pur-chase of foods on the basis of low bid subject to quality. The board also authorized the clerk to call for bids on the district owned cottage at Santaquin for removal off the property. . Responding to a report made by a group of teachers in regard re-gard to insurance programs and cost estimates, recommending recom-mending the board accept the U.T.W.A. insurance program, the board decided that price quotations from Blue Cross-Blue Cross-Blue Shield be considered before be-fore a decision is reached. |
