Show i j I I. ' ' 1 Mrs. Leslie Kay Bennett, the former Miss Ila Ann Groesbeck of this city now making new home in Provo. Mr., Mrs. L K. Bennett Honored At Open House; Living in Provo All settled in their home at Provo are New- ; lyweds Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Kay Bennett, who were married December 5, at Ely, Nev., and were honored last Thursday evening, with an Open House in the Third-Ninth ward church. The charming bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Mil-ton Groesbeck of this city and the groom's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Bennett of Provo. For her wedding and Open House, the bride chose a gown of powder blue jersey accented by a white orchid corsage. The young couple was assisted as-sisted in greeting guests at the Open House by their parents; par-ents; also an uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hales of Spanish Fork, stood at the door. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Blanch-ard Blanch-ard attended the guest book and in the gift room were Mrs. Lester Anderson, Mrs. LaFaye Pyne and Mary Jo Bennett. Refreshments were served under un-der the direction of Mrs. Irene Deeben, Carol Thorn and Anna Mae Thomas by Karen Adams, Kay Bird, Dyana Law, Patricia Patri-cia Booke, Jeannine Holley, Jeralyn Bray. Beautiful holiday decorations suggestive of Christmas time were arranged about the rooms and on the serving table by Mrs. Eugene Hales. The bride is a graduate of Springville high school and LDS Seminary and is presently present-ly employed in Provo. Mr. Bennett, Ben-nett, also employed in Provo, is a graduate of Provo high school and recently completed his service with the U.S. Army. |
