The Albert Clarks had guests for a holiday party at their home inviting Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Pat Sorensen of Provo and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clements of this city. Pvt. Glen W. Cox, son of Mr. and Mrs. Heber Cox, serving six months in the army, visited his parents and friends here over the holidays returning to Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., to complete his schooling. He expects ex-pects to be home the latter part of February. Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thorn and Mr. and Mrs. Ted Haymond were at a party Saturday evening even-ing at the ' home of Mr. and Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson to celebrate Mrs. Andersons birthday. birth-day. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Orme (Afton Ash) and three children chil-dren have come from Owa tonna, Minn, to make their home in Utah Mr. Orme having accepted a position at Ogden. The Ormes have been visiting in Springville with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Ash and with Mr. Orme's folks in Idaho. Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Gott-fredson Gott-fredson have purchased a new home in Provo and plan to mofve there in the very near future. They have been residing resid-ing at 369 East Fourth South. Mr. and Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson An-derson enjoyed the company ofj Mrs. Anderson's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Poulson of Richfield during the holidays. ' Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Cox and children have returned from Heppner, Oreg., where they spent two weeks over the Christmas holidays with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Cox. They also visited a brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Cox at Lexington, Oreg. |
