Mr., Mrs. Phillip Whitney Make Home Here After Dec. Wedding and Marva Dibble. In charge of refreshments, was Mrs. Ethel Jensen with Linda Child, Patricia Whitney Myrna Harmer, Susan Harmer, Linda Young and Janet Bona serving. Helen and Phillip are both graduates of the Springville high school and LDS Seminary. He is a former student of the USU at Logan and his bride has attended he BYU. 5, , The wedding of charming Miss Helen Parry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John C. Parry of Mapleton and Phillip A. Whitney, Whit-ney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Whitney of Springville was a mid-winter nuptial event of interest taking place December 17, in the Manti Temple. A reception in the Mapleton amusement hall, the following-evening following-evening honored the couple, who are now making their home in Spi'ingville.' The bride's wedding gown was of silk lace over satin, fashioned with full floor-length skirt and three quarter sleeves. Her veil of illusion was arranged ar-ranged to a crown of seed pearls and seauins and her bou- with Kathleen Parry, Lorna and Janet Whitney, junior bridesmaids. They were attired in orchid sheath taffeta gowns ith flowers in corresponding shades. Best man to the groom was Larry Hermansen of Payson. Mrs. Parry chose a pink lace for her daughter's reception and Mrs. Whitney vJore biege lace. Greeting guests at the door were Mr. and Mrs. Bill Averett and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Dur-rant. Dur-rant. Lucille Wing and Beverly Bever-ly Diamond were at the guest book. Arranging gifts were Inez 1 Harmer, Carolyn Hermansen quet consisted of an orchid surrounded with baby orchids and white carnations. Attending the bride were Dorothy Parry, Esther Parry, Deanna Durrant, June Diamond, Dia-mond, Linda Whitney and Sharon Tew as bridesmaids |
