Brown Live Here Following Wedding Back from a honeymoon to Yellowstone Park and Sun Valley and all settled in their new home at 246 South First West are Newly- weas Mr. and Mrs. Arnold W. Brown who were married August Aug-ust 5, in the Logan LDS Temple. Tem-ple. Mrs. Brown is the former Miss Elaine Barton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Barton and Arnold is a son of Mrs. Berniece Wood also of Springville. Spring-ville. In the evening following their marriage, the young couple were honored at a wedding reception re-ception in the Third-Ninth ward hall. The lovely young bride chose a gown of lace and tulle over satin with high neckline neck-line and long sleeves pointed at the wrists. Her elbow-length veil was attached to a crown of seed-pearls and she held a beautiful bridal bouquet consisting con-sisting of a white orchid and stephanotis. She was attended by Mrs. Carma B. Duncan, matron of honor; Dian Brown, maid of honor and Jean Patrick, Jo-Ann Jo-Ann Johnson, Carolyn Simmons and Jeri Ann Wheeler, bridesmaids. brides-maids. Little Virginia Lutz was junior bridesmaid. David Gunn was best man to the groom. Jimmy Duncan was usher. Greeting guests at the door were: Mr. and Mrs. Otto Shipp, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Gall and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Weight. At the guest book were Mrs. Judy O. Robertson and Miss Elma Morrill. Arranging gifts were Mrs. Marilyn Thorn, Mrs. Geri Allan, Al-lan, Mrs. Sharon Blackley, Mrs. Lynda Bahr, Ann Laney, Judy Law, Jean Cowan and Mrs. Gail Barton, assisted by Gift Bearers Kathy Sue Wheeler and Jimmie Gadd. A beautiful white wedding cake topped with bells centered center-ed the serving table and set the autumn color theme for the wedding reception. The bride's attendants gowns were in autumn shades of biege, apricot, brown and pale green and late autumn flowers in corresponding shades decorated deco-rated the church. The couple greeted their guests before an archway of ferns and other greenery entwined en-twined with autumn shaded flowers. Serving refreshments during the evening were Pat Frand-,en Frand-,en JoAnn Daybell, Sally Gadd, Diane Shipp, Beth Wheeler, Vicky Wheeler and Margaret Henderson. |
