Show Utah at Christmas time, wher his wife will join him and return re-turn to Venezuela. yeu5 rioted . . . Mr. and Mrs. H. L. Putman (Bessie Noakes) of Helper were in Springville Tuesday visiting vi-siting her sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Michael Long and coming especially for the funeral fun-eral services of Willis Weight. Mr. & Mrs. Manferd Hutchinson Hutch-inson have been visiting here briefly from California the past week. They came especially especial-ly to help their daughter Dorothy Doro-thy and her husband, Dr. and Mrs. Jerry Nilsson get settled in Salt Lake Citv where he will returned home recently from an enjoyable vacation trip to Canada. They went as far north as Lake Louise stopping there and at Banff. They also visited at Calgary and Leth-bridge Leth-bridge and at Cardston. En-route En-route they stopped at Cour de Alene and at various places in Montana, also passing through Yellowstone where the earth quake came a few days later. They toured the Lewis and Clark cave and also Glacier National Park. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Law and two daughters are visiting in Springville and in Logan with relatives and friends this week. They came from Caracas, Cara-cas, Venezuela, S. A. where be at the LDS hospital. They came to Springville Tuesday to attend the funeral services for Willis Weight. Mrs. Stephen Fischer (Erma Celventra) and daughter Linda of New York City are visiting in Springville until next Tuesday Tues-day with her mother, Mrs. Orissa Celventra and sister, Mrs. Ralph Child and family and other relatives and friends. They were accompanied here by Mr. Fischer who stayed a few days and then returned to New York. They made the trip by plane and before coming to Utah visited friends in Los Angeles, An-geles, San Francisco, Calif., and Seattle, Wash. Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Jones Howard is employed in government govern-ment work, several weeks ago and spent a few weeks in Springville and California before be-fore returning to Utah. In Springville, they are guests of Howard's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Law. He plans to return to South America by plane Sunday and his wife and two daughters will remain in Utah longer. During their stay the girls will attend the USU at Logan and Mrs. Law plans also to take some classes to renew her teachers' certificate. They came by plane from So. America to New Orleans where they purchased a new car for the trip to California and Utah. Howard plans to return to |
