Show Wildlife Names Heads; Other Business Passed Various committee heads have been named by the Springviiie - Mapleton Wild-1 Wild-1 i f e Federation announces Clyde Peay, newly elected president of the group. During the directors meeting various events for the coming year were discussed and outlined, out-lined, including the National Wildlife week March 16-22. A general membership meeting is planned for the week along with a window display and a membership drive. . Also presented dilring the meeting was the fish planting program and the date set for the annual outing June 21 and 22. The directors discussed the possibilities of getting more Chukar plants in the surrounding surround-ing area, .turning the problem over to the upland bird committee com-mittee for further study. Sportsmen are reminded that the new memberships are available from any of the directors di-rectors or at the Averett and Rowland barber shop. New heads of committees include: in-clude: Big Game, Blake Everett; Ever-ett; Upland Bird, Buss Williams; Wil-liams; Fish, Larry Peay; Legislative, Le-gislative, Howard Haymond; Publicity, Clyde Peay; Membership, Mem-bership, Bob Jones; Rifle Range, G. M. Black; Landowner-sportsmen, Wm. Weight; Entertainment, Glenn Webb and Bernell Jensen. |
