Show High School News Since Dee Anna wasn't to school Wednesday, I her Mother Moth-er will report the news of that day for her. When I first heard Parents Day was here again my first reaction was "Oh no." Not another day of confusion, racing- up and down stairs, a bad headache and a general feeling of "was it worth it?" This year Parents Day was quite different. I came home with a feeling of "mission accomplished." ac-complished." Many problems were discussed and I felt those that weren't would be worked out sane and sensibly by the teachers, principal and students. stu-dents. I gained a new confidence confi-dence in the school and I heartily congratulate those re-ponsible. re-ponsible. The Ski Club went to Brighton Brigh-ton Saturday. Miss Amott and Merrill Barney furnished the transportation. Even the members mem-bers that started skiing just a short time ago are now good enough to ski down from the chair lift, so we feed we have made quite an improvement. The A Cappella Choir members mem-bers are selling subscriptions to the Springville Herald. They are very grateful for the way the townspeople have supported support-ed them. The choir is also taking tak-ing orders for cakes. We have sold close to a hundred and are still going strong. Saturday Satur-day we all met at the school and baked cakes. The Senior rings finally arrived ar-rived and they are something the Seniors can really be proud of for they symbolize twelve years of hard -work and I do mean work. |
