Show (doming. (Events ... 2nd Ward MIA District Attorney Jackson B. Howard of Provo will speak at the Second ward Special Interest In-terest class next Tuesday evening even-ing on Civil Rights. Following his talk, there will be a question ques-tion and a discussion period. Mutual begins at 7:30 p.m. All are invited to hear the talk. Sierra Bonita DUP Members of Sierra Bonita DUP will be entertained at the home of Mrs. John Y. Bearnson next Thursday, Feb. 13, announces Mrs. Blanch Ost-lund, Ost-lund, captain. First Ward Building Fund Breakfast The building fund committee of the First ward announce a benefit breakfast will be held at the church in the banquet room, Saturday morning from 6:30 a.m., to 9 a.m. and an invitation is extended to everyone every-one to attend. Ward members and friends are urged to bring their families. Home Culture Club Home Culture Club members and their husbands and other guests, will be entertained at the Social Center in Spanish Fork Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. Speaker will be Dean Hoyt, who has done recent extensive ex-tensive traveling. Sweet-Heart Ball The First-Twelfth wards are joining in a Sweet-Heart Ball next Monday evening, Feb. 10, in the amusement hall. A 5-piece 5-piece orchestra, a floor show and refreshments will feature the entertainment beginning at 8 p.m., under direction of the MIA organizations. Legion Auxiliary The February meeting of the American Legion Auxiliary will be held next Wednesday, at 8 p.m., at Memorial Hall, directed by President Helen Crandall. Mrs. Mary Schwartz, Americanism contest chairman will be in charge of the program. pro-gram. PTA Program "See How They Grow," is the title of the first of a series ser-ies of educational programs on Channel 7 beginning Monday, February 10, at 9 p.m., to which the Utah Congress of PTA invites the public to see. Camp Mountain View Camp Mountain View DUP members are reminded of the February meeting next Thursday, Thurs-day, Feb. 13, at 2 p.m., at the home of Mrs. Jennie San-ford. San-ford. Ladies Literary Club Mrs. A. E. Jacobsen will entertain en-tertain for members of the Ladies Literary Club this evening even-ing at 7:30 p.m. Mrs. Blanch Beal will give a book review. Companions Club Members of the Companions club will entertain at a dinner party for their husbands Saturday Sat-urday evening at 8 p.m., at Barts. A Valentine theme will be used. |
