This Monday they had a very good movie about the development of the American Ameri-can nation and how the flag was changed to fit the country. We learned about the pledge of allegiance from this film. We are excited about Valentine Day. In preparation for it we have made an individual valentine val-entine folder to be the mail box for each child. Janice Church's mother has a new baby girl born Feb. 2. We have two participating teachers this term in Mrs. Le-Roy's Le-Roy's second grade. Miss Giles is with us in the mornings, and Miss Gordon is with us in the afternoons. They are both from BYU. We had some interesting experiments to show how air presses on things and also on how magnets pull on iron. Linda Lin-da Kay Snow had a birthday this week and turned eight. We have a new student in Mrs. Wright's third grade this week. He is Michael Thompson who just moved from Helper with his parents to live in this city. Eddie Isaacson, in Mr. Frandsen's room,, is having his tonsils out this Friday. Steven Zobell, Raymond Wood, John Roylance, all had birthdays |
