Show TINTIC PAYMASTER SHAFT HAS CHANGE An important change lias 'been encountered encoun-tered in the formation in the Tintlc Paymaster Pay-master shaft, according to H. G. Snyder, secretary of the executive committee. For a considerable distance a porphyry overflow over-flow was passed through. This porphyry has now been replaced by a quartzite with considerable manganese showing. At present the shaft is down over SCO feet, it is said. Six feet per day are helm? he-lm? made in two shifts. One of the main objectives, the intersection of the east-west east-west crotisbreak with a north-south fissure, fis-sure, should be attained at the 560-foot level. Officials of the company estimate that this objective, if the present pace is maintained should be reached in sixty days. |
