Show HAY CROP WILL FALL SHORT IN GEM STATE Special to The Tribune. POCATELLO, Ida,, July 14. Idaho's hay crop for this year will be 500,000 tons short of last year's harvest, according to I a report filed by Commissioner of Agricul- ! ture Miles F. Cannon, member of the governor's gov-ernor's cabinet. This means virtually a 75 per cent crop. Last year's harvest amounted to 1,934,000 tons and this year, according to the report, the harvest will fall below 1,500,000 tons. This report is based on a careful survey of the hay situation sit-uation throughout the state, conducted under the supervision of Mr. Cannon. |
