Show BANQUET TO BE GIVEN BY MINING ENGINEERS Mining" and metallurgical engineers, anions whom will bv included some of the most noted in America, ill gather at a dinner to be given a t the Hotel Utah Thursday evening- at 7 o'clock by the Utah section of the American Institute Insti-tute of Mining" and M etallurgical Engineers. Engi-neers. Colonel D. C. Jaokling:, managing director and vice president of the Utah Copper company, will bo asked to be present. John P. Gray, mining attorney, will be toastmaster. Among those who may speak will be Mr. Jacklins, H. V. "Win-chell, "Win-chell, president of tho American Institute Insti-tute of Mining and Metallurgical Engineers, Engi-neers, and Dr. C. K. Leith, consulting encineer, who was formerly connected with the department of gvology of the University of Wisconsin. Mr. .Tackling, accompanied by his private pri-vate secretary, H. B. Tooker, will arrive in the city this afternoon from the east. Mr. .Tackling will pend a few days iu the city looking after his various interests. |
