Show WOQDLAWN SAMPLES SHOW GOOD VALUES Recent samples of ore extracted at the Woodlawn mine in the Aita district have assayed satisfactory values in both copper cop-per and silver, according to W. J. Lawrence, Law-rence, general manager, who is in Salt Lake for a few days. Mr. Lawrence said one sample assayed showed 25 ounces of silver and i'3 per cent lead, while the other averaged 19 ounces of silver and 12U per cent lead. With the roads leading up to the mine : clearing rapidly, .the management expects to go ahead with the development work. Shipments of ore cannot be made for a few weeks yet, but when the roads are ready for through hauling, they expect to be in a position to send out considerable ore. The samples, indicating good values as they did, pre taken by the men inter- 1 ested more, as an indication that better values will be found than as showing a 1 settled value of the mineral holdings. |
