Robert Walt man, 14, owner of the pistol which caused the boy'H death, denies he had the weapon In his hands when It was discharged. He charges another boy with the tragedy. There were six boys, and each accuses another of having held the appears from statements made In the juvenile court today that a cartridge had failed to discharge when the trigger was snapped, and the weapon was opened to change the shell. As it wag snapped back the firing pin closed on the cartridge, the muzzle being pointed at Lee Stewart. Records of the juvenile court show that three deaths have resulted from the careless care-less handting of small arms In this county during the past year. |
