Show Sweet-Scented Jags Acquired by Idaho Men Spvlal to Th Tribuni-. POCATELLO, Idaho, Nov. 17. In their eagerness for drink, many Bannock Indians have resorted re-sorted to drinking strong perfumes. Intoxicated Indians were arrested la-st night by the police. Partly emptied bottles of popular perfumes were found in their pockets, and the Indians admitted having drunk of the perfumery. Every conceivable brand of liquid li-quid containing alcohol is being consumed con-sumed by tipplers here, and the habit is not confined alone to Indians, In-dians, but foreigners, negroes and some Americans are addicted to the use of these liquids. Wood alcohol, plainly labeled "Poison" has become a favorite beverage among the' red skins, and they become paralyzed by Its use. |
