Motor enthusiasts and even those people peo-ple whose interest in automobiles is somewhat limited are commenting on the new Chandler touring car, which has ht;ld tho place of honor at the Quigley establishment on Exchange place for the past week. The eales rooms have "been thronged with admiring motor fans every day, and one and all freely expressed their unlimited admiration and praise of the latest Chandler model. To look at the beautiful new car one would think almost al-most that the ultimate in motor car art had been attained and that nothing could surpass in refined workmanship and nicety of detail the handsome Chandler touring car. "The Chandler of the past has had splendid bodies,'' said Mr. Quigley, in commentirg on the success of the new model, "but the new Chandler touring car even surpasses its immediate fore- ; runner in beauty of line, in bigness, in I comfort of its cushioning, in the nicety of its custom-like workmanship and in its lustrous finish. It is a big car. Its high hood and radiator, its broad cowl, its wide and deep doors give it distinctive dis-tinctive appearance. ''The new car "rvill not only be chosen for its bigness and its handsome dignity, but for its mechanical excellence. Fifty thousand Chandler owners know, better than we can tell you, what a good car the Chandler is. "The Chandler continues for 1919 all its distinguished mechanical features. The famous motor and the sturdy excellence excel-lence of the whole chassis make the Chandler notable among fine cars. There are six splendid bod? types seven-passenger touring car, f our-pas? enger roadster, road-ster, four-passenger dispatch car, convertible con-vertible sedan, convertible coupe and limousine. ' ' Mr. Quigley reports many requests for demonstrations and also several sales of the new models. He has just received word from the factory that the cars are being shipped with all possible pos-sible speed and promptness, and therefore there-fore Mr. Quigley is confident of being able to make immediate deliveries on any model. |
