Show MOTHERS 10 HEROES TO BE HONORED 10011 City Churches Prepare Special Spe-cial Services; White Flowers in Vogue. Today is dedicated to the honor of motherhood. "White flowers will be presented to the mothers as tokens of j appreciation for the self denial ami devotion de-votion they have sbowu and are showing; show-ing; to humanity, and in nearly all the churches special services will be held in keeping; -with the occasion. 1'romi nent among t he programs arranged ar-ranged for the day are t hoso of the various P. D. S. ward?. At t ho .Second .Sec-ond ward Sunday school songs in eulogy of the beautiful qualities of motherhood mother-hood will predominate. There will also be short addresses and a presentation of flowers to the mothers. The Fifth ward has prepared a special musculo for the. occasion, and a flower service will be conducted by the kindergarten and primary classes. Mrigham IP Young will deliver the message to mothers at the Twenty-first vard. Solos and other numbers will also be furnished. At the Thirty-first ward Sergeant Axel A. Mad:-en will be t he speaker. Special musical numbers will be rendered ren-dered by the Anderson string quartet and other prominent musicians. Liberty ward has arranged a program of songs and beautiful sentiments for both ho Sunday school and evening session, and at the Le Grande ward an appropriate nroeram and presentation of carnation will take place at Sunday school. In the general hospital recreation hall at Fort Douglas the. Utah War .Mothers' .Moth-ers' association held their monthly meeting yesterday afternoon, in observance obser-vance of "-Mothers' and Sons' Day." The hall was parked with bundles of flowers brought by the members of the ass or i at ion for dist ribut ion to t lie sick and wounded soldiers in the hospital.
