One death was rescistered during the day. "There are a Kreat many cases of influenza in-fluenza in the county and in tho rural localities." R. J. Shields, manager of the Salt Lake county chapter of the Ked Cross, said last nifrht. "Unconfirmed reports state that there are 200 cases in the Granger ward. C. E. Gaufin. manager of the Salt Lake county branch of the Red Cross at Murray, reported re-ported there are 100 cases in Murray. Other reports indicate the situation is serious at Provo. Heber City, Farming- j ton. Henefer. Kamas, Logan, Corinlie and Malad. Idaho. "We need nurses. Our reserve list of nurses is exhausted. During the epidemic epi-demic we had many nurses register with us. but since conditions have improved these have eone Into other lines of work.J so at Dresent we have more calls for outside the cltv than nurses. For that' reason wo would like very much for those who are willing to go out of the city to nurse to register with us at once at the Amelia palace." |
