Show TEACHER IS DEAD OF INFLUENZA IN PAYSON Special to The Tribune. PAYSO.V. Oct. 31, Miss Susan E J layaon. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. WU-Iiam WU-Iiam i Clavson, died las; night at the family fam-ily home, from influenza. Miss Clayson was torn in Pavson Xo-v"her Xo-v"her 2$, 1S8S. She was graduated from thg Payson high school in 1910 and was the valedictorian of the firs! Pavson high school graduating class, and a!so of her eighth grade graduating class. She attended at-tended the- B. Y. U. at Provo one year and the Universfty of Utah one slimmer. For six years she was a teacher in the Payson public schools. She was an officer of-ficer in the First ward M, L A, for nine years and also active in Sunday school work. Jn January, 1S17. she was taken III with Bright s disease and was confined to Tier bed for thirteen months, hut had apparently recovered, when she was stricken with influenza. |
