On account of the enervating weather and as a diversion from knitting, the Patriotic Service Knitting Knit-ting club was entertained at a twilight tea and cards Tuesday evening- at the home of Mrs. "W. H. Wagner on Fifth avenue. The rooms were artistically decorated dec-orated in cut flowers. Whist was played and as the various clubs have adopted the plan of giving thrift stamps and it being in accordance with the thrift stamp campaign now on, the prizes awarded were thrift stamps and were won by Mrs. Sadie Lowry arid Mrs. Robert Picket. Mrs. Wagner was assisted by Mrs. David Jensen Jen-sen and Mrs. E. Hoffmire. n the future fu-ture the club "will meet every two weeks and one week will be devoted to cards and the other to knitting.
