RELEASE SHIPPING COMPANIES' CONTROL WASHINGTON, Dec. Z. The Clyde, Mallory, Merchants and Miners and the Southern Steamship companies were re-iimpiished re-iimpiished iroin federal control tonight by order of Director General McAdoo. Steamer companies owned by railroads will lie retained under management of the railroad administration. Leading steamship lines which will remain re-main tinder railroad administration control con-trol following the war include the Southern South-ern Pacific, or Morgan lines;-Old Fomin-'ion, Fomin-'ion, Baltimore Steam Packet, Chesa- I peake Steamship, Ocean. Fall River, Hartford &. New York, and San Francisco, Fran-cisco, Portland and Seattle lines.
