A majority of the nation's railroads plan to restore to employees who entered military and nnva service the seniority rights which they sacrificed when they left the roads' employment. em-ployment. Issued over the signature of TV. G. Mc-Adoo, Mc-Adoo, director general of railroads, an order says today tiiat th following general gen-eral principles will govern: "(a) In the case of an employee having established seniority rights, so far as practicable and where tlie employee is physically qualified, he will be restored to such seniority rights. "(b) In the rase of employees who do not have seniority rights under existing practices, a consistent effort will be made to provide employ men t for them when mustered out of military service." |
