Waohewiez, three of the Chicago directors direc-tors of the Utah Sulphur corporation, who tli is week Inspected the Beaver and Millard Mil-lard county holdings of their company, made a trip of inspection Wednesday to the Utah Copper property at Bingham. George E. "Hemphill of tiie American Consolidated Con-solidated Mines company took the eastern visitors to the big" Bingham workings of the Utah Copper and the eastern visitors spent the afternoon there, returning to the city last night and leaving for their homes yesterday afternoon. The magnitude of the Utah Copper enterprise- especially impressed itself upon the Chicagoans, the consensus of opinion being that they had understood from reading that it was a large project, but were entirely urprepared to witness operations op-erations upon such an extensive scale. Mr. Si auii added tiat the more he saw of Utah's great mineral resources, as yet so little developed, the more confident he was tha t in tiie near future a great stream of wealth from the east would find its way into Utah mining Investment Invest-ment channels. |
