CHARGED PASSING WORTHLESS CHECKS ATLANTIC CITY, N. J., Dec. 19. Ste- phen N. Curry of New York, arrested here j Monday on a charge of passing worthless j checks aggregating $60,000, and Mrs. Maud Roller, divorced wife of Dr. Roller, the wrestler, who is charged with being an accessory, were taken back to New York today by agents of the department of justice. The warrants for their arrest were sworn out by the American Bankers' ' association. Curry's operations, it was said, began last September and were carried car-ried on chiefly in Pennsylvania, New York and New jersey. Government agents said today they were investigating re ports that he may have had some connection connec-tion with the recent holdup of a Brooklyn Brook-lyn bank In which the cashier was killed . and a large sum of money taken.
