I That Claims from all parts of the state are eager to learn the approximate date of the return of the regiment is attested by tho largo number of telephone inquiries in-quiries received by The Tribune. Tho 145th artillery is included in tlie Sixty-fifth Sixty-fifth field artillery brigade and as yet nothing more definito than that this will be returned to America soon has been given out. All forecasts as to tho date of j tho Utah artillerymen's return aro but : speculations and, according to these, the j men may bo home by Christmas or they may not. The policy of the war department is to return tho men as rapidly -.as possible and the speed with which tho Utah artillerymen ar-tillerymen will bo sent home probably will be resolved into the problem of transportation. Among the first efforls of the committee will bo to insure a representative rep-resentative and all-inclusive welcome and ono that will reveal to tho soldiers the sincerity of Utah in having them safe at home again. There is no doubt that the reception will be one of tho greatest and the vehicle for the most popular patriotic patri-otic outburst ever witnessed in Utah. |
