Show Stephens Is Silent. Governor William D. Stephens today flatly refused to comment on the report of Densmore. When asked whether ho would Instruct Attorney General Webb to conduct an investigation of the charges, the governor through his private secretary, secre-tary, Martin Madsen, said he had no comment com-ment whatsoever to make. Neither would the governor intimate what action he proposed to take .with regard to a commutation com-mutation of sentence for Mconey.
