Show LACKEY COMPANY IS ACTIVE IN WYOMING Work of Validating Claims in Big Pinoy Oil District Will Continue During Winter Months. j Word was received yesterdav from President. Charles Lackey of the Lackey Oil company, who is in the fields north of Kemmerer superintending the operations opera-tions of the company, that the work of validating claims in the Big Pinev district dis-trict was going forward rapidly despite a six-inch snowfall. The La eke v company com-pany is acquiring lands in Big Pinev in addition to its holdings in thp Dry Piney field. It is planned to continue work throughout the winter. Mr. Lackey is expected in Salt Lake the latter part, of the week to purchase materials with which to begin operations; on the Dry Pinoy holdings which adjoin' the property of the Cretaceous companv. I Information was received yesterday ! from Kemmerer to the effect t hat the Standard Oil company experts worn making mak-ing an inspection of the western Wyo- ! miner fields. A telegram from Denver yes- ' terday announced that interests from that city opera ling in the Casper and Big Muddy districts were arranging to go to Lincoln county for the purpose of inspect- . ing the Dry Piney field. |
