Show BEET SUGAR GROWERS TO APPEAL TO HOOVER Charls G. Patterson, secretary of the Interniountain Association of Beet Growers Grow-ers left for Washington last night to join delegates from Colorado, California and Nebraska, who will 'present to Herbert C. Hoover, national food administrator, their demand for higher returns from the sugar-companies sugar-companies for beets. The Colorado delegation dele-gation Includes Albert Dacon of Long-mont Long-mont Christopher Perkins, Loveland; J. .1 Hicks. La SaLle: J. Collins. Kalon, and Dr. A. Jones. Fort Morgan, according to a telegram from Denver late yesterday to Mr. Patterson. The intermountaln association last night sent a letter to W. W. Armstrong, national food administi-ator for Utah, asking him to give the beet growers a hearing to present their side of the sugar question. |
