In the matter of the organization of drainage district to be known as Brighton Drainage District, In Salt Lake county, state of Utah. Notice. To all persons Interested: Notice Is hereby given that the petition of C. W. Brown and twenty others, praying pray-ing for the organization of a drainage district, to be known and named as Brighton Drainage District, in Salt Lake county, Utah, was presented to the Board of County Commissioners of Salt Lake county, Utah, on the lfith day of March, A. D. IS 17, and was filed with the county clerk of said Salt Lake county at the office of-fice of said county clerk in the city and county building, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake county, state of Utah, on the said 16th day of March, A. D. 1917, and said petition is now on file In the office of said county clerk. The boundaries and general description by legal subdivision are more particularly described as follows, to wit: Beginning at the Southeast corner of Section 6 in Township 1 South of Range 1 West of Salt Lake Meridian, running thence West ZVa miles to the Southwest Corner of the Southeast quarter of Section Sec-tion 3 in Township 1 South of Range 2 West. Salt Lake Meridian, thence North mile, thence West 2 miles, thence North 1 mile to the center of Section 32 In Township 1 North of Range 2 West of Salt Lake Meridian, thence East i mile, j thence South & mile, thence East 2 miles, thence North M mile, thence West 4 mile, thence North of a .mile, thence East Hi miles, thence South mile, thence East 1H miles, to the center of Section-31 in Township 1 North of Range 1 West. Salt Lake Meridian, thence South 1 mile, thence East J, miie, thence South 14 mile, to the place of beginning, containing con-taining 4120 acres of land, more or less, according to United States Government Survey, in Salt Lake county, Utah. And a more particular description of the lands whlcn your petitioners propose to include within said drainage district and within the proposed boundaries of such district are more particularly described de-scribed as follows, to wit: The Northwest quarter and the South half of Section 6 in Township 1 S-outh of Range 1 West, Salt Lake Meridian; all of Sections 1 and 2, and the North half and Southeast quarter of Section 3, and the North half of Section 4. and the Northeast quarter of Section 5. all in Township 1 South of Range 2 West, Salt La ke Meridian. The Southeast quarter of Section 32, the East half of the Northeast North-east quarter and the Northeast quarter o the Southeast quarter of Section 34. all of Section 35 and the South half of Section 36. all in Township 1 North of Range 2 West of Salt Lake Meridian, and the Southwest quarter of Section 31. In Township 1 North of Range 1 West, Salt Lake Meridian, and all in Salt Lake j county, state of Utah. 1 The starting point, or points, of sRid drainage svstem and proposed works and ' drains, is at the Southwest corner of Section Sec-tion 6, Township 1 South, Ranse 1 West, S. L. B. and M., in Salt Lake county, Utah. The rente, or routes, and terminal, or termini, of the said drains and proposed works, being a system of Tile Drains and open drains, are as follows: Route No. 1. Beginning at the center of Section 1. Township 1 South, Range 2 West, running westerly across Sections 1, 2, 3. 4 and 5, discharging northwesterly into I'ireat Salt Lake. Route No. Beginning at thf South east corner of Sect ton 35. Township 1 North, Range 2 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, running northerly and discharging discharg-ing Into Bailey's Lake. Route No. 3. Beginning at the Southwest South-west corner of Section Township 1 South, Range 1 West, running northeaster northeast-er I v. and discharging into the Surplus Canal. A general description of the proposed works and the purpose of organizing the said drainage district is to construct drains and drain the a'ove described la nds by a syst em of covered and open drains carrying the drainage waters into the threat Salt Lake, and to benefit and Improve the condition and fertility of lands within the proposed district. The said petitioners will ask for a hiring hir-ing on said petition, and will request that the same be granted at the regular meeting meet-ing of the said Board of County Commissioners Commis-sioners to be held on the ?th day of April, A. D. 1017. at the hnv.r of 10 o'clock a. m.. or as soon thereafter as they can be heard, at tlie ofrVc of the said Foard ot County Commissioners in tbe said city and county building, in ihe said Salt Lake county and state of Utah.
