Wednesday night the lodge accepted the invitation of Damon lodge ot Murray to in present and assist them in conferring the rank of "knight" on several "esquires." "es-quires." Tet us make a good show of our ieelings on both occasions. Thursday nights session was very interesting. The committee on the recent dance gave a partial report that was verv gratifying. Brother lianna from Seattle. Wash., Brother Howard of Boise, Idaho, Brother Bluementhal of Provo and several other ivisiiors entertained the lodge under good of the order. Calanthe-Myrtle lodge Xo. 1. K. of P, held a rousing meeting last Monday night. Chancelor Commander Frank W. Manning Man-ning announced that we adjourn and march in a body to the tabernacle and hear the speakers on patriotism, which we did, and enjoyed every word spoken. Remember these dates and come for a well spent evening. Last Friday night the nOU card social was an exceptionally pleasant one. Salt Lake Yeomen. The social and dance given by Salt Lake Homestead No. 1132 at Moose hall last Friday night was a complete success in every way. About ninety couples attended at-tended and the committee Is entitled to great credit for showing everybody a good time. Next Tuesday the Yeomen state conclave con-clave will be held at springville, Utah, for the ptirpose.of electing two delegates and the alternates to represent the Yeomen Yeo-men of, this state at the supreme conclave con-clave to be held at Detroit, Mich., next June. The delegates from this homestead are J. Everett Seely, . D. M. Bernhisel, H. G. Enrich and G. P. Vick, who, with State Correspondent W. J. Mojton, will leave for Springville In time to be present pres-ent for the opening session April S at 10 a. m. This homestead will at its next meeting meet-ing Friday night, April 6. initiate a large class, and the field workers promise to have a large number of new applications ready to be acted on by the committee. Women of Woodcraft. Salt Lake circle. Women of Woodcraft, is now permanently located In Odd Fellow's Fel-low's hall and meets every Thursday evening. At our last meeting Grand Manager Baer talked on the Mobile and Xew York fraternal Insurance laws and their possible pos-sible effect on Woodcraft. At each of our meetings, from now until the coming of the district convention at Logan, these laws will be discussed so that our representatives repre-sentatives at the convention may be familiar with the work in hand. Our nominations have already been made and posted in our lodge room. The election takes place on April 26. Every member should be in attendance at every meeting, as there is going to be some real work done. Woodmen of the World. Salt Iake camp Xo. 53, Woodmen of the World, held a rousing "meeting last Tuesday evening and a well attended session was enjoyed. The ritual committee commit-tee reported that everything was now in readiness to put on the new work Tuesday night. April ,1, and the complete com-plete equipment will be used for the first time. A class of candidates will receive the protection degree and the biggest crowd of the season is expected to witness wit-ness the degree work on that night On Tuesday evening, April 17, Deseret camp Xo. 406 will pay camp Xo. 53 a fraternal visit and all Woodmen are cordially invited in-vited to attend.
