Show MINES OF TYBO TO RESUME ACTIVITY According to the Tonopah Daily Bonanza, Bonan-za, interest again centers in old Tybo, a camp situated in the Hot Creek range about fifty miles northeast bv east from Tonopah. In the early days this district was a very profitable producer, but it declined de-clined with the price of silver and has been dormant for a number of years. There are ast reserves of ore which, with the advance in the price of the white metal and improvement in reduction and transportation facilities, are now extremely extreme-ly valuable. "vValter Trent of Reno, president of the Trent Engineering company, has for the past six months been engaged in perfecting perfect-ing arrangements for operating the prin- cipal group of mines, which were very fa-j fa-j vorably reported upon by competent en-1 en-1 gineers. Barney Baruch, who backed the Gold-field Gold-field Consolidated Mines company with $1,000,000 cold cash when that merger was formed, is also behind the Tybo deal, and with him are associated other prominent and wealthy New York mine investors under the name of the Louisiana Consolidated Mining company. |
